CGRMC Recognizes Employees for Service to the Hospital

May 16, 2012

Most of the more than 125 Casa Grande Regional Medical Center employees who gathered in the hospital’s Education Center last week were there to be honored for their years of service. Still others were present for the distinction of being named either the nurse, employee or volunteer of the year, with 2012 being the first time for the last category.

On the previous evening, the Physician of the Year was named during CGRMC’s weekly physicians meeting, and taking the honors this year was Ammar Saifo, MD, a hospitalist who was praised by the nursing staff for his leadership, compassion, dedication and for “going the extra mile” when it comes to administering to the patients. The first runner-up was James Liguori, MD, cardiology. Teddy Yap, MD, a hospitalist, was the second runner-up.
