Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Contact Number: (520) 381-6584
Our cardiac catheterization lab contains sophisticated digital X-ray equipment, which provides comprehensive diagnostic and interventional cardiac care for patients who meet specific, nationally standardized criteria for cardiac catheterization. To conduct this procedure, a cardiologist inserts a catheter into an artery, usually the femoral artery, and follows this artery to the patient's heart for imaging of heart function and blood circulation in the coronary (heart) arteries. The Cardiac Cath Lab at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center is capable of interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures (such as angioplasy and stent placement), both elective and emergent. Interventional services are availabe 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Results of the test are immediately available to the patient and family. The lab also performs pacemaker procedures.
