G.I. and Endoscopy Suite
The G.I. and Endoscopy Lab is equipped with modern Fujinon camera endoscopes. The suite includes a patient prep room, three procedure rooms, three recovery rooms and two physician/patient consultation rooms. The lab is staffed by five RN's and two techs. The procedure nurses include RN's with advanced certification in gastroenterology nursing and over ten years experience in GI and Pulmonary procedures.
Procedures performed at CGRMC include: Colonoscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, EGD (Upper Endoscopy), ERCP, Bronchoscopy, and Laryngoscopy. Most procedures require moderate sedation and take less than two hours from arrival to departure.
