Volunteer Services

Casa Grande Regional Medical Center is always willing to accept the generous donations of time given by volunteers from the community. Volunteer positions include assisting various nursing units by answering phones, room preparation, re-stocking supplies in treatment areas, staffing the information desk in the front lobby, staffing the gift shop, visiting with patients, interviewing patients for the Life Stories/Baby Stories program, circulating the book cart, staffing specific waiting rooms, driving the courtesy cart and visiting patients through PAWS with Dogs (our dog therapy program). We also use volunteers for clerical positions. CGRMC is grateful for all the volunteer hours that help us be a caring healthcare facility. Typical volunteer shifts are four hours in length and occur on a regularly scheduled day each week. CGRMC does require new volunteers to make either a 40 hour or three month commitment to volunteering with us. To become a volunteer, please call (520) 381-6541 or click here for more information and to complete an on-line application.

CGRMC Auxiliary

The hospital auxiliary is another way volunteers may choose to become involved at CGRMC. The auxiliary has three levels of membership:

Active Membership: $10 a year and 25 hours of volunteer service
Sustaining: $35 a year
Lifetime: $200 one time contribution

The auxiliary supports the work of the hospital through fund raising efforts such as the annual golf tournament, as well as operating the gift shop. The auxiliary also provides five $1,000 scholarships annually to applicants pursuing careers in health care. Click here for information about this scholarship. The Ways and Means committee of the auxiliary distributes funds raised to various departments of the hospital by allowing departments to request special equipment or program funds once a year. For more information about the auxiliary or to join, please call (520) 381-6571.
